CM Punk Responded To Haters After Suspension

During his acceptance speech for the Iron Mike Mazurki Award, Punk acknowledged the criticism he has faced both in person and online, dismissing it with a sense of amusement.

“When people tell me that they don’t like me or that the internet is mad at me, I just chuckle because Roddy Piper liked me. Dusty Rhodes liked me and Harley Race liked me. And that means more than anything else in the world because these legends put their stamp on me before anyone else did. It gave me the confidence and it gave me the ability to succeed,” Punk said

Punk’s words reflect his unwavering self-belief and his refusal to let criticism overshadow the invaluable validation he received from revered figures in professional wrestling.

Punk’s suspension from AEW came as a result of a backstage altercation with Jack Perry at the All In pay-per-view event last Sunday. As a consequence, Punk will miss the highly anticipated All Out event, set to take place in his hometown of Chicago this Sunday.
