Since June 10, 2022, Gunther has been continuing his reign as the Intercontinental Champion. However, his push might continue as WrestleVotes via GiveMeSport.com reported that the Head of Creative of WWE, Triple H is very fond of him. Since Gunther came into his own at Clash at the Castle everyone seems to love him.
Not only Triple H, but Road Dogg and Jason Jordon are fond of him too.
Also, Once WWE has two world titles, the number of people in the main event will double and Gunther will take the lead. By summer, Gunther is expected to be at the top of the card. If Gunther wins the World Championship, it wouldn’t be a surprise and he could be next in the line.
Triple H “loves” Gunther, with Road Dogg and Jason Jordan also being fans of his behind the scenes.
Gunther may be next in-line for a world title opportunity, once WWE decides to have two world championships.

What big plans WWE might have for Gunther?
Speculations are going on that we might get to see Gunther at WrestleMania 39. At ‘The Showcase of the Immortals’ there is a chance of Gunther vs Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus for the WWE Intercontinental Championship Title.

Also, Gunther entered the Royal Rumble at number 1 and got eliminated from the second last position by Cody Rhodes who entered the Royal Rumble match at 30. Thus, there are speculations going on that we might also get to see Gunther vs Cody Rhodes in near future.
