WWE Smackdown- Will Brock Lesnar show up on the upcoming edition of Friday Night Smackdown? Brock Lesnar showed up last week on Friday Night WWE Smackdown and challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. The Beast Incarnate returned to the Smackdown after a 2-year break and got straight into the business. He confronted The Bloodline along with his former advocate Paul Heyman who acts as a Special Counsel for the Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

After Lesnar threw his challenge to open the night at Madison Square Garden, Roman Reigns finally accepted it in the closing moments of the night, and the two men will be colliding at some stage (Crown Jewel or Survivor Series) for the Universal Championship. Now, When the Beast Incarnate’s challenge has been accepted, does it makes sense for him to appear on the upcoming edition of WWE Smackdown? Let’s put some light on this.

Extreme Rules is the next PPV event, scheduled for September 26, and Roman Reigns is set to defend the Universal Championship against the “Demon” Finn Balor. “The Demon” made a return to the main roster on last week’s Madison Square Garden of Friday Night Smackdown and walked straight into the face of the Universal Champion.

WWE Smackdown: Should Brock Lesnar appear this week on Friday Night Smackdown?

After the show got over, WWE made it official that Finn Balor’s alter-ego will be colliding with the Tribal Chief at Extreme Rules. So now, when Balor vs. Reigns is set to Extreme Rules, it doesn’t really make sense for the Beast Incarnate to show up until the Extreme Rules PPV event.

Roman Reigns and “Demon” Finn Balor are left with two more editions of Friday Night Smackdown before the Extreme Rules PPV. Therefore, it would be better to give them the spotlight to amplify the intensity of this feud heading into the PPPV event. Brock Lesnar hindering the process won’t be fruitful for this build-up as the Beast incarnate will get a chance to eventually have a Universal Championship bout against Roman Reigns in the future.
