WWE Smackdown Results: BEST & WORST of tonight’s Smackdown- Just like any other edition of Friday Night Smackdown, tonight’s Survivor Series fallout edition of Smackdown featured some of the Best & Worst moments. In this post, we have listed the 2 best and 2 worst moments of the night. Let’s take a look.
WWE Smackdown Results: Drew McIntyre not getting a spot in the 20-man Black Friday Invitational Battle Royal (BEST)
We all know Drew McIntyre has been called upon Smackdown to do big things, huge things. He is touted to dethrone Roman Reigns, but it shouldn’t happen at any weekly Smackdown edition or a PPV like WWE Day 1.

Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre is a Wrestlemania caliber match, and having Drew McIntyre in tonight’s 20-man battle royal only to make him lose didn’t have made any sense. Saving Drew McIntyre from this conundrum, especially when WWE Day 1 is the next PPV event and Brock Lesnar also in the mix of things, was a great decision by the thing heads of WWE.
WWE Smackdown Results: Sami Zayn winning the 20-man Battle Royal (WORST)
More than worst, Sami Zayn winning the 20-man Black Friday Invitational Battle Royal came as a huge shock. No one saw this coming, but WWE yet again let its fans down. Sami Zayn is now the new #1 contender for Roman Reigns Universal Championship, a thought that has made even the Universal Champion laugh off.

WWE Smackdown Results: Jeff Hardy not winning the 20-man Battle Royal before his home crowd (WORST)
Tonight’s show took place at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, North Carolina, which happens to be the hometown of the legendary Jeff Hardy. During the main-event 20-man Battle Royal, the crowd went berserk for their hometown hero as they wanted him to win the Battle Royal.

However, it didn’t happen as Sami Zayn tricked and pipped Jeff Hardy to win a Universal Title shot at Roman Reigns. It was a heartbreak for the Greensboro crowd to not witness their hometown hero winning the bout.
