WWE SmackDown Live Results September 23rd, live blog & live streaming details: Another week and another edition of Friday Night SmackDown awaits the WWE Universe. This week’s show will stream live from the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Usos vs Brawling Brutes: In the main of Friday Night SmackDown, The Usos competed against the Brawling Brutes with the Undisputed Tag Team Titles on the line. Butch gave a dominant start against The Usos dominating Jey Uso. The former NXT UK Champion tortured one-half of the champions in the ring. Later, Ridge Holland tagged in to jeopardize Jey Uso with multiple strikes.

However, The Usos brought their momentum in the match and attacked Butch and Ridge Holland on the ringside. Both men worked together to decimate Butch and tried for the first pin. After the commercial break, The Usos took control of the match attacking Butch. Meanwhile. Jey Uso and Sami Zayn argued on the ringside when Butch took the advantage of kicking Jey Uso in the face.

Later, the Brawling Brutes took control of the match attacking The Usos. Soon, both teams exchanged heavy blows to each other, and The Usos delivered multiple super kicks to Butch, but Butch stood tall after kicking off a mid-air double super kick.

In the final moments of the match, Imperium attacked Sheamus, causing a distraction to the Brawling Brutes eventually costing the title match for Butch and Ridge Holland.
Raquel Rodriguez vs Dakota Kai: Raquel Rodriguez faced Dakota Kai in one-on-one action. Damage CTRL tried to aid Kai with a cheap shot to Raquel when Shotzi arrived to slam Bayley and Iyo Sky on the ringside. On the other hand, Raquel seized the opportunity to pin Dakota Kai with a roll-up pin.

After an embarrassing loss, Damage CTRL tried to overpower Raquel Rodriguez, but they ended up retreating after Shotzi unleashed her brutality on them.
Karrion Kross decimates Drew McIntyre: Drew McIntyre addressed his rivalry with Karrion Kross and he will finally get his hands on the former NXT Champion. The former WWE Champion will face Karrion Kross in a strap match at Extreme Rules. Meanwhile, Kross tried to attack Drew McIntyre in the ring, but McIntyre countered him and brawled with Kross.

The Scottish Warrior drove Kross into the ring post and tied him with the strap with multiple attacks. However, Scarlett interrupted the brawl to save her partner, eventually delivering a low blow to the former WWE Champion. In the end, Karrion Kross jeopardized McIntyre in the ring with a sleeper hold.
Braun Strowman vs Otis: Braun Strowman and Otis started the match, locking collars and consecutive strikes to each other. Soon, Strowman started his assault by tossing Otis in the ring, followed by a drop kick to the 365-pound Otis. However, Chad Gable distracted Strowman, allowing Otis to strike Strowman and push him into the barricade.

Later, Otis tied to lay his hands on Strowman, but the Monster countered it with a spine buster. Although Otis tried to save himself, the Strowman Express destroyed the Alpha Academy, tossing them to the ringside. In the end, Strowman defeats Otis with a powerbomb.
The New Day vs Maximum Male Models: Xavier Woods and Mansoor started the match, but Mansoor had a dominating start on Woods. On the other hand, Maxxine took a camera to shoot pictures of Mace and Mansoor. Eventually, both men started posing for the photos, but The New Day attacked them and snatched the victory with a roll-up pin.
Liv Morgan vs Lacy Evans: Liv Morgan faced Lacy Evans in a non-title match on Friday Night SmackDown. The former US marine enforced herself on the SmackDown Women’s Champion and started a relentless assault. She tossed Morgan into the ring and continued her assault with different maneuvers.

After the commercial break, Evan continued her dominance in the match against the champion. However, Morgan continued to fight back after utter dominance. Later, Evans tried to attack the champion with a kendo stick but she failed to do so. Eventually, Morgan snatched the win with an ObLIVion.

Later that match, Liv Morgan goes extreme on Lacy Evans with repetitive strikes with the kendo stick followed by a senton on the table to obliterate Evans.
Roman Reigns addresses WWE Universe: Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with the Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns alongside The Bloodline. Paul Heyman recalled Roman Reigns being still the WWE Universal Champion and the Bloodline has been unstoppable since its formation. In addition, Heyman added Solo Sikoa’s call to show up at Cardiff wasn’t someone from the Bloodline but from the elders of the Samoan Dynasty.

Later, Sami Zayn interrupts the Tribal Chief but Roman Reigns gets angry and strips Sami Zayn from The Bloodline’s t-shirt. Everyone in the fans seemed confused about Roman Reigns’ actions. Surprisingly, Roman Reigns gifts another t-shirt to Sami Zayn with Honorary Uce carved.
