WWE SmackDown Live Results 7th October, live blog & live streaming details: Another week and another edition of Friday Night SmackDown awaits the WWE Universe. This week’s show streamed live from the DCU Center, Worcester, Massachusets. Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with ‘The Game’ Triple H welcoming the WWE fans to the Season Premiere of Friday Night SmackDown.

Sheamus vs Gunther: In the main event of Friday Night SmackDown, Sheamus and Gunther competed in a one-on-one match for the Intercontinental Title. Both men started the match by hitting each other with multiple strikes. Meanwhile, Gunther rolled out of the ring and tried to ambush Sheamus on the sidelines. However, the Celtic Warrior manhandled the Intercontinental Champion, driving him into the barricade.

After the commercial break, both men competed in the ring, attacking each other. Later, Sheamus delivered a power slam to Gunther. Both men continued to brawl in the ring with multiple strikes to each other. Meanwhile, the tables turned out for Sheamus, with Gunther overpowering the Celtic Warrior. Gunther caught Sheamus in a sleeper hold, but the challenger escaped his grip.

Once again, both men stood back in the ring exchanging heavy hits with each other. Sheamus outsmarted Gunther in the corner and caught him for the 10-chop strike on Gunther’s chest. Further, he delivered the White Noise from the second rope and tried to cover the champion but the champion kicked out.

Soon, Gunther took control of the match and delivered the powerbomb, followed by a splash on the back of the neck. However, Sheamus kicked out the pinfall in naked time. In the final moments of the match, Ludwig Kaiser handed over the shalalie to defeat Sheamus.

The Usos and Sami Zayn vs The New Day and Braun Strowman: The Usos and Sami Zayn competed in a six-man tag team match against The New Day and Braun Strowman after Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston mocked Jey Uso. Sami Zayn and Xavier Woods kicked off the match. However, Sami Zayn tagged in Jey Uso enraging the tag team champion. Meanwhile, Kofi Kingston delivered a dropkick and decimated The Usos on the sidelines with a double team.

After the commercial break, The Usos dominated Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. The Bloodline switched multiple tags and attacked Kofi Kingston one by one. However, the argument continued between Jey Uso and Sami Zayn . On the other hand, Braun Strowman entered the match destroying Jimmy Uso with a chokeslam.

In the end, Braun Strowman knocked Jey Uso and Sami Zayn on the announce desk while The New Day pinned Jimmy Uso in the ring.

Xia Li & Sonya Deville vs Shotzi & Raquel Rodriguez: Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez competed in a tag team match against Xia Li and Sonya Deville. Li and Deville gave a great start to the match by attacking Shotzi, but both women couldn’t hold much longer.

Eventually, Raquel Rodriguez tagged in and decimated both women in the ring. In the final moments of the match, Raquel delivered the Kahana bomb to pin Sonya Deville winning the first match with her new tag team partner, Shotzi.

Zelina Vega returns with backup: The Queen of the Ring and former women’s tag team champion Zelina Vega made a shocking return attacking Hit Row with a bunch of masked men. They decimated Hit Row in the ring and attacked Top Dolla and Ashante.

The masked trio revealed themselves as no other than the former Cruiserweight champion Santos Escobar with his men. Santos Escobar gave a bold warning by hijacking the blue brand.

Solo Sikoa vs Ricochet: The Street Fighter Solo Sikoa competed against the One and Only Ricochet in a one-on-one match. Solo gave a strong start assaulting Ricochet but the former Intercontinental Champion brought his momentum back with hard strikes to Solo Sikoa.

He delivered a suicide drive followed by a moonsault to slaughter Solo Sikoa. Ricochet played some mind games to enrage the Street Fighter, but Solo Sikoa caught him in the ring with multiple strikes in the ring and knocked him out with a big right hand.

After the commercial break, Solo Sikoa dominated Ricochet in the ring. Later, he tried to knock Ricochet but he slowed down the pace with a drop kick and turns the table down. He continued his offensive strikes with a spin kick to the enforcer. However, Solo Sikoa outsmarted Ricochet while the One and Only performed the 450 splash. Eventually, the match ended up in a victory for Solo Sikoa with an Uranage to win the match.

Roman Reigns and Logan Paul face-off: The Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns arrived on the blue brand along with The Bloodline to face off against the social media star, Logan Paul. Both men confronted each other in the middle of the ring when fans booed the YouTube sensation.

Later, The Wiseman Paul Heyman gave his words of wisdom, mocking Logan Paul and eventually praising Roman Reigns. However, Logan Paul countered Wise Man and enraged Jey Uso until Sami Zayn interrupted to separate Reigns and Jey Uso’s stare down.
