WWE Smackdown: Sheamus is set for an in-ring return this week- Former World Champion, the Celtic Warrior Sheamus, is all set to return to in-ring action this week. Sheamus will be returning to the ring for this week’s UK tour, and this would be his first in-ring appearance after undergoing second nose surgery in September.
The Celtic Warrior made his way to Smackdown from Raw during the WWE Draft last month. He was one of the perennial figures on the brand and had the United States Championship in his possession till August. Right now, his in-ring return has been announced for WWE live tours but is yet to feature in a match on Smackdown, ever since jumping to the Blue brand during the WWE Draft.
WWE Smackdown: Sheamus has been dealing with a busted nose since May
The Celtic Warrior has been struggling with a broken nose since taking a stiff right elbow shot from Humberto Carrillo on the May 31 edition of Monday Night Raw. He first underwent surgery in June and returned to the ring again in July.
However, his injury was aggravated during a match against Jeff Hardy on the September 20 edition of Monday Night Raw, forcing him to undergo yet another surgery thereafter.
Sheamus’ last match took place on the September 7 edition of Monday Night Raw. He battled Damian Priest for the United States Championship in a no disqualification bout but fell short in his attempt to reclaim the title.
WWE Smackdown: Sheamus will face Finn Balor during the UK tour
The former World Champion is all set to face Finn Balor on four consecutive days during the UK tour starting from Nov. 7 to Nov. 10. Below is the full schedule of WWE’s UK Tour,
