WWE Smackdown: Drew McIntyre is not willing to face Roman Reigns – Former WWE Champion and Smackdown’s Warrior Drew McIntyre is not willing to face the Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the championship right now.
Drew McIntyre is pipped to dethrone the outrageous reign of Roman Reigns as the Universal Champion, who has now held the title for 434+ days by hook or by crook. It is assumed that the two stars will be facing each other sooner rather than later. However, the Smackdown Warrior doesn’t seem to be in a hurry for the colossal match.

WWE Smackdown: “I don’t want it to happen right now”- Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre recently appeared for an interview with Sky Sports where he praised the Universal Champion and said that he is aware of an eventual battle between the two, but doesn’t want it to happen right now. Below are some of the insights from the interview,
“Everyone keeps saying to me, ‘it’s Drew and Roman, that’s obviously what’s going to happen,” said McIntyre. “I’m sure it’s inevitably going to happen, but I don’t want it to happen right now. He is got all this momentum, and I am a very patient man. I have been in the wrestling game for over 20 years now. I want to keep building up victories.”

McIntyre further said, “I want to keep building up momentum,” McIntyre continued. “He knows what I’m capable of these days, and I want him to have to watch me build up momentum, and when the time is right we come together, and it’s going to be a huge match for us as Superstars, but especially for the fans. Not until the time is right, though.”
