WWE Rumors: WWE Universe believe WWE Hall of Famer Edge might compete his last match in Summer 2023
Recently WWE announced that they will be returning to Toronto for a live edition of Friday Night SmackDown on Friday, August 18, 2023.
According to several fans, WWE SmackDown which is set to take place in August 2023 in Toronto will be Edge’s last match. As he himself mentioned in 2022 that he wants to retire in summer 2023 in Toronto.

In August 2022, WWE Raw took place in Toronto. There Edge faced Damian Priest in the main event of the show. In the match, Edge defeated Priest.
In a post-match promo, Edge stated that 30 years ago on July 1st, 1992, he had his first wrestling match as ‘Adam Copeland’. He said he knew one day he’d be standing right where he is, in front of the entire WWE Universe. He mentioned that he fought with one of the best talents in the wrestling industry and he wishes to do it again.
Finally, the Hall Of Famer said “I can’t wait to hopefully come back one last time, one last time here in Toronto. I’m looking at the calendar, we usually come here in August. So next August, I plan on seeing each and every one of you, and in a perfect world, we’ll all say goodbye to each other that night. Hey, that’s okay, man. This is the place for me to do it. I mean this when I say it I love all of you.”
