In the final build-up towards Saturday’s PPV event, we saw many ups and downs throughout the night, but what were the Best & Worst Moments of the show? Let’s take a look,

WWE Raw Results: The Miz & Maryse humiliated by Edge (BEST)

Edge has got the upper hand heading into the WWE Day 1 clash against The Miz. After getting embarrassed and snapped by Miz two weeks in a row, Edge finally got his record straight when he humiliated and embarrassed Miz & Maryse with a Brood bath during their wedding ceremony.

Edge intervened during the segment and left the ring right before Miz & Maryse were embarrassed with Brod bath. It was an epic scene and tantalizingly good for the final buildup of Miz & Edge’s WWE Day 1 clash.

WWE Raw Results: Mixed tag-team match (WORST)

Dana Brooke (24/7 Champion) and Reggie formed a unit to collide against the team of Tamina & R-Truth. Well, we won’t call this match worst as it was entertaining for the crowd with gigs and all, but it wasn’t fruitful at all.

WWE Raw Results: Riddle returned

The opening segment of tonight’s Raw saw Riddle and Randy Orton kick off the show. Seeing Riddle alongside Randy Orton was a great sight because the Original Bro was rumored to have stuck with COVID-19 and may have missed the WWE Day 1 PPV event.

The rumors blew away in the opening segment itself as Riddle not only kicked off the show but fought Chad Gable in the opening match of the night. With The Street profits winning the RK-Bronament final, they will face Riddle & Randy Orton for the Raw tag-team titles on Saturday, January 1, at the WWE Day 1 PPV event.

WWE Raw Results: Omos vs. AJ Styles got nixed (WORST)

Omos was set to face AJ Styles on tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw. However, the match got nixed when Omos was reportedly sent home from the show’s taping in Detroit. Omos was not backstage at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

The former one-half of Raw tag-team champion was sent home earlier in the day, leaving Detroit to fly back home before the RAW taping began. The reason for sending him home early is yet to be known, but it was a sheer disappointment for the fans who came to witness this mega bout.
