Every ardent WWE fan was waiting for the return of the Rated-R Superstar Edge tonight. The Hall of Famer returned and addressed the WWE Universe before he was cut short by another man who made a surprise return to WWE, i.e., The Miz.
"Six months ago, I was WWE Champion! When's the last time you held a major title, @EdgeRatedR? Oh that's right …. you were in the opening match when I was defending the WWE Title against @JohnCena at #WrestleMania!"@mikethemiz #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/aJnvKZAmfx

The two men had a lit segment as they blamed each other for many things including John Morrison’s getting fired, The Miz taking his WWE fandom to other reality shows, and The Miz blaming why Edge gets all the limelight whenever he makes a return. You can check the glimpse of the promo below,

Previously, Seth Rollins and Big E were supposed to go one-on-one at WWE Day 1, but later in the night, Owens defeated Big E courtesy of Seth Rollins’ interference after the Prize Fighter provoked Rollins to attack him. The WWE Championship was on the radar of both Owens and Rollins, therefore having them both competing in a triple-threat match for the WWE Championship is the best outcome.
