As per the reports, WWE paused plans for Kevin Owens after Sami Zayn’s success with The Bloodline. Although WWE featured Kevin Owens on SmackDown and Raw hinting at a reunion, WWE never went ahead with the plan.

As per Ringside News, WWE has concrete plans for the former Universal Champion. However, at the moment, Triple H has no plans to feature Kevin Owens. The report states WWE will bring back Owens most likely for Road to WrestleMania. Currently, the creative team is waiting for the right moment to feature him “when the time is right”.

Earlier this year, Kevin Owens extended his contract with WWE with a good amount of money deal. Later, he competed in a storyline for the WWE Title followed by a WrestleMania match with his idol Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Although Kevin Owens has been taken off-screen, he continues to wrestle in WWE Live Events. In a recent live event in Mexico, Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano defeated Alpha Academy in a tag team match. Earlier, the duo also competed for the Undisputed Tag Team Titles against The Usos but they were unsuccessful.
