WWE NXT WarGames Results: Team Gonzales reigned supreme over Tem Kai

Team Gonzales vs. Team Kai WarGames match kicked off the night. Team Gonzales (Raquel Gonzalez, Io Shirai, Cora Jade, Kay Lee Ray) came out victorious against Team Kai (Dakota Kai, NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose, NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne).

It was all chaos and brutality across the two rings encompassed by a steel cage. Io Shirai & Dakota Kai, who are among the veterans of WarGames matches, were on the money with their moves and took things on their own for the majority of the match. Throughout the bout, the audience present in the arena were chanting “this is awesome!”

The fans were all behind Team Gonzales, and that really help them to reign supreme over Team Kai. Out of all the reigning stars in team Gonzales, it was Cora Jade who rolled up Jacy Jayne to pick up a win for her team.

WWE NXT WarGames Results: Duke Hudson had their head shaved

One of the most captivating matches of tonight’s show was the Hair vs. Hair match between Duke Hudson & Cameron Grimes that saw the latter pipping his arch-rival. The weeks-long feud finally came to an end tonight when Grimes pinned Hudson to reign supreme. Once the match got over, Grimes stopped Hudson from escaping the ring and sent him to the second ring, and placed him on the barber’s chair and clippers that were there on display.

Hudson retaliated against Grimes for shaving his head, but the former Million Dollar Champion fought him and shaved some of his head off. Hudson escaped the ring after most of his hairs were shaved, while Grimes sat on the chair and received one final “to the moon!” pop from the crowd.

WWE NXT WarGames Results: Team 2.0 reigned supreme over Team Black & Gold

The main event of the night was an epic one. Team 2.0 (Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller, and Tony D’Angelo) defeated the team of veterans Team Black & Gold (Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne, and LA Knight) to show that the new dawn of NXT has begun.

In one of the most brutal matches of WWE in recent times, we saw almost every property present under the ring getting used. Trash cans, kendo sticks, steel chairs, tables, steel chains, pliers, etc., were used during the match as both teams were looking to decimate each other.

The match started with Johnny Gargano and Carmelo Hayes, with Grayson Waller being the first member to get released from the shark cage. Hayes and Waller teamed up to destroy Gargano, who was later joined by the Bruiserweight Pete Dunne.

Tony D’Angelo, LA Knight, Bron Breakker & finally Tomasso Ciampa entered the ring in the mentioned order, and the carnage was in the uproar. It was a brilliant match for the spectators who were constantly behind team Black & Gold by chanting Black & Gold! This is awesome! The result of the match was a heartbreak for the crowd as they were backing Team Black & Gold, but Bron Breakker’s power slam in the middle of the ring on NXT Champion Tomasso Ciampa was what required for Team 2.0 to reign supreme.
