WWE NXT WarGames Preview: Men’s WarGames Match

Team New School (Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Tony D’Angelo, and Grayson Waller), will take on the veterans of NXT, i.e., Team Old School (Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne, and LA Knight) in a brutal WarGames match.

Team Old School vs. Team New School

On the November 23 edition of NXT 2.0, Carmelo Hayes retained his North American Championship title over Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne in a triple-threat match courtesy of outside interference from Tony D’Angelo. After the match got over, LA Knight and Grayson Waller, who were brawling throughout the night backstage, bumped into D’Angelo, this led D’Angelo to attack LA Knight, but Dunne made the save.

A brawl then took place in the ring. Hayes and Trick Williams went to injure Gargano’s arm until the NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa came out rushing to make the save. He, along with LA Knight and Pete Dunne cleared the ring and helped Gargano to his feet. Waller, Hayes, and D’Angelo were on the ramp and were soon joined by Bron Breakker, who took the mic and yelled “WarGames!” before the four men rushed to the ring to have a brawl with The Old School to end the night.  

 

WWE NXT WarGames Preview: Team Kai vs. Team Gonzales

Team Gonzales is complete with the inclusion of former NXT UK Champion Kay Lee Ray. Team Gonzales (Io Shirai, Raquel Gonzalez, Kay Lee Raw, and Cora Jade) looks all set to collide with Team Kai (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne, and Dakota Kai) in a brutal WarGames match on December 5.

On the WarGames go-home edition of NXT 2.0, Kay Lee Ray defeated Dakota Kai to gain an advantage for her team heading into NXT WarGames on December 5.

 

WWE NXT WarGames Preview: Cameron Grimes vs. Duke Hudson (Hair vs. Hair match)

Cameron Grimes and Duke Hudson’s rivalry will take a new angle when the two men will collide in a Hair vs. Hair match at NXT WarGames on December 5.

Despite Grimes topping Hudson during their in-ring Poker Showdown, the latter snapped the former and cut some of his hairs and beard. On tonight’s edition (November 23), Grimes appeared in the ring with shorter hairs and challenged Hudson for a Hair vs. Hair match for the December 5 event.

NXT Cruiserweight Championship- Joe Gacy will be challenging the NXT Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong at the WarGames event.

NXT Tag Team Championship- NXT Tag-Team Champions Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner of Imperium will take on Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagner after they defeated Legado del Fantasma’s Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde in a number one contender’s match on the WarGames go-home edition of NXT 2.0.
