WWE NXT Highlights: Check out the top 3 moments of the show- The highly anticipated NXT 2.0 after NXT New Year’s Evil took place tonight. The new NXT Champion Bron Breakker kicked off the show, and the main event featured former WWE Champion AJ Styles taking on the narcissist Grayson Waller.

WWE NXT Highlights: Bron Breakker celebrated his title win
The night was kicked off by the new NXT Champion Bron Breakker, who headed to the ring with some fans chanting “you deserve it!” while others respond, “no he don’t!” in response. Breakker took the mic and started off praising the former Champion Tommaso Ciampa.

He said that most didn’t see it, but Ciampa grabbed his neck after the match got over and told him that this is his time before exiting to pay respect to Bron’s father, the legendary Rick Steiner. Furthermore, Breakker said he knows he has big shoes to fill, but he is here to do it for the fans. He then calls out anyone in the locker room who wants to challenge him for the title as he is set to work every week and put his title on the line against anyone any week. He then dropped the mic and exited the ring.

WWE NXT Highlights: Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic returns
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic returned on this week’s edition of NXT. The first match in the qualifiers took place between the team of Harland & Joe Gacy and Edris Enofe & Malik Blade.

WWE NXT Highlights: From AJ Styles’ triumph to Bron Breakker kicking off a new era, check the top 3 moments of the show
Harland and Joe Gacy made an easy work of Edris Enofe & Malik Blade as Harland annihilated Enofe and Malik to the fullest. Harland slammed Blade face-first into the turnbuckle over and over again as the referee warned him. Harland doesn’t react to the referee’s warning and continued smashing Blade before the referee had to call the match.

WWE NXT Highlights: AJ Styles defeated Grayson Waller
The Phenomenal One AJ Styles collided against Grayson Waller in a highly anticipated main event of the night. The veteran and the young gum started off with some trash talks giving the fans what they wanted. The action was high octane as we saw a variety of offenses from the two men, but in the end, it took one Phenomenal Forearm for AJ to pin Grayson Waller.

After the win, AJ stood tall with the fans cheering for him. He then grabbed the mic and said that Waller is good, but he isn’t phenomenal. He then told Waller that this isn’t over yet as he wanted to introduce him to one of his friends. That friend was none other than LA Knight. Knight beat the hell out of Waller and chased him down around the ring before tossing him on the announce table.

Knight then brought him back in the ring and leveled him with a clothesline, and finally sends him over the top rope to the floor to clear the ring. The segment ended with Knight and Styles hitting opposite corners to pose for the crowd.
