WWE News: WWE working on major plans for upcoming Monday Night Raw episode

As per Wrestling Observer, WWE RAW’s 30th Anniversary will take place next year on January 9, 2023. Although WWE hasn’t announced or made any official statement regarding next year’s Monday Night Raw celebration, it said that the January 9 episode of Raw will take place next year in CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Until this writing, it is unknown what major plans WWE has cooked. However, it will mark its 30-year anniversary running since 1993. The first episode of Raw aired on January 11, 1993, live from the Manhattan Center in New York City. The show featured the Deadman Undertaker in the main event decimating Damien Demento.

WWE Raw is one of the longest-running shows in the USA, but Portland Wrestling holds the current record for the longest-running pro wrestling TV show. It used to air weekly from January 10, 1953, until it was discontinued in December 1991. In 2032, WWE Raw can break that record.

D-Generation X made their return to celebrate its 25th Anniversary along with Finn Balor and The OC. The segment concluded with a tag team match between Revival and The OC. Later, the main event of the show featured from the Barclays Center where Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, Kane, and Braun Strowman came face-to-face.
