During the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Roman Reigns and The Bloodline kicked off WWE SmackDown at FedEx Forum in Memphis. However, Reigns was angry about Sami Zayn calling the shot on their most recent match in a losing effort against John Cena and Kevin Owens.

Surprisingly, Kevin Owens interrupted the Head of the Table enraging him once again. Soon after, the Prizefighter took the opportunity to end the problems with a championship proposal at the Royal Rumble. In reply, Reigns agreed to his challenge for the Undisputed Universal Title.
Since Kevin Owens’ return before Survivor Series, both men are having a fierce rivalry with each other. On the other hand, Owens enraged the Tribal Chief with constant defeats to The Bloodline in recent encounters. After the recent defeat, Reigns is willing to put an end to the rivalry once again at Royal Rumble.

What happened the last time when Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens fought at WWE Royal Rumble?
Back in 2021, Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens fought in a Last Man Standing match at Royal Rumble for the Universal Title. The match lasted for a long duration and both men featured in tough spots knocking each other to win the match.
The match also featured some crucial spots where Reigns and Kevin Owens stunned the fans. The backstage fight also took a massive turn of events when after each knockdown Owens stood tall on his feet to beat the count of 10. Moreover, the former Universal Champion almost locked his victory when he handcuffed Reigns to the ground.
