As the Royal Rumble event is near, spoilers are out regarding WWE returns and special appearances for the rumble match. Recently, PWInsider has reported potential spoilers featuring Edge and Beth Pheonix discussed for the Rumble along with Booker T, Matt Cardona, Doudrop, Mickie James, and many others.

Earlier, Edge vs Finn Balor was discussed for a steel cage. Since Extreme Rules, the Rated R superstar is absent from WWE but it seems he will return with his wife for a Rumble appearance. Also, Doudrop will resume her duties on WWE Raw. Last week, she gave an update regarding her illness which put her on shelves for months.

Will The Rock appear at the Royal Rumble 2023?
The Rock is expected to return for a dream match with Roman Reigns. Last month, there were reports regarding his possible return but he hasn’t signed a deal yet. According to the reports, Roman Reigns vs The Rock is still on hold and the Brahma Bull has to confirm his return with WWE until Royal Rumble weekend.
The Rock could reportedly make a WWE return as soon as the Royal Rumble, it's been reported previously that WWE wants The Rock for a match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 but there is a "chance" he appears at the Royal Rumble.

Moreover, WWE has planned other things for Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. A report from Wrestling News.co reported Roman Reigns to face Cody Rhodes for the Universal title if The Rock fails to show up. Also, Seth Rollins vs Cody Rhodes or Drew McIntyre is pitched for the WWE title.
