WWE News: WWE Reportedly not booking former WWE Champion to face Roman Reigns: Reports
One such opponent is no other than the former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley. Recently, Bobby Lashley ended his feud with MVP and Omos at Hell in a Cell. He defeated both men in a 2-on-1 handicap match to secure his win. Later that match, Lashley teased a potential title match by grabbing a WWE fan’s championship belt.
Even many fans are expecting a possible match between the All-Mighty and the Head of the Table. Unfortunately, WWE will not make that match this soon. As per the reports, WWE is not willing to bring Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns in a possible matchup.
According to the latest update on Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted that WWE ordered the former WWE Champion to grab the replica title from the fan. But, he will feud with Theory for the United States Title.
“This week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that even though Bobby Lashley “was ordered to grab a replica belt from a planted fan at ringside” after his victory at Hell in a Cell, there is no plan for a title match between Lashley and Roman Reigns. WWE News: Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed Universal Title on SmackDown
On the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Riddle defeated Sami Zayn in a stipulation match. As per the stipulation, if Riddle wins the match, he will be granted a title shot against Roman Reigns, which he did. Eventually, he defeated Sami Zayn with an RKO in the end to secure his win.

Next week on SmackDown, Roman Reigns will defend his title against Riddle for the first time since WrestleMania 38. The hype for the match has already excited the fans. As per the reports, WWE scheduled the first title defense on SmackDown against the former Raw tag team champion.
