1. Stephanie McMahon resigns from the position of Co-CEO
Recently, WWE Universe had a big shock after Stephanie McMahon announced her resignation following her dad’s return to the company, Since the start of 2023, Vince McMahon was in talks to return, however, fans were not expecting him to be so early in the board.

Following the recent press release, Stephanie McMahon announced her resignation with a heartfelt message after serving as Co-CEO alongside Nick Khan and Chief Brand Officer Triple. She took to Twitter to share her last words about leaving the company.
2. Vince McMahon becomes the Executive Chairman
Earlier this week, there were talks regarding the former Chairman’s return. Indeed, the rumors were true and the Board of Directors brought him back. Moreover, the latest press release titled him as the Executive Chairman after unanimous voting following his daughter’s resignation.

Meanwhile, Nick Khan is the sole CEO of WWE leaving Triple H as the Chief Brand Officer. The Stamford-based promotion released a press release to notify its investors.

3. WWE Reportedly sold to Saudi Arabia
WWE has seen a sudden change after Vince McMahon’s return. As noted earlier, Mr. McMahon cleared he won’t be approving any media rights until he regains control as he holds the majority of WWE’s share. As per the latest reports, WWE is already sold to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.
Recently, Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam.net provided an update on the current situation of WWE where he mentioned WWE’s reported the company sale is almost locked with Saudi Arabia which will allow the company to go private.

4. NXT Superstar Veer Mahaan loses his father
Recently, WWE superstar Veer Mahan lost his father. The NXT Superstar was scheduled to face Creed Brothers along with Sanga of Indus Sher. However, the unfortunate demise of his father led the superstars to miss the New Year’s Evil show.
