Speaking on the latest episode of his To Be The Man podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer opined that he is good to wrestle again. He also professed that he would deliver a better show for the viewers than last time if he steps into the ring again. Here is what he said.

“I have not spoken to him, so I don’t know the answer to that. When I spoke to him, we were trying to get him to work with us. He indicated to me back then that he didn’t think, health-wise, he was ready to do it. It’s what makes him feel good. Like I say about myself, I could wrestle again right now too, and I’d be a lot better than I was in the Last Match because when you’re gone away that long you forget about little things that’ll make a difference and you spend too much time getting in shape for it that you don’t think about little things like dehydrating. He further went on to heap praise on Ricky Steamboat.

“I was so into the training part that I forgot about little things. I think he should do what he wants to do. He’s Ricky Steamboat, there’s only going to be one Ricky Steamboat, whether it’s good or bad, it’s not going to affect his legacy. WWE News: Ric Flair is not invited to next year’s WWE Royal Rumble

The Nature Boy has dismissed recent rumors doing the rounds that he has been invited to next year’s WWE Royal Rumble.

However, he did confirm that he will be present on the 30th-anniversary episode of WWE RAW which is scheduled to take place six days prior to the Rumble.

“I’m still looking forward to the thirtieth anniversary. By the way, of course, social media screwed that up, I have not been invited to the Rumble. I am going to San Antonio to sign autographs separately, on the day of the Rumble. I was not invited to the Rumble. However if they want me to put my gear on, like at Last Match, that’s fine”.

Ric Flair has clarified that he has been invited to Raw's 30th-anniversary special taking place before the Royal Rumble, but has not been invited to the PLE. He has, however, said that if WWE wants him in the annual Rumble match he will put his gear on.
