WWE News: WWE is taking extra precautions with Veer Mahaan after injury: Reports
His main roster run was short-lived after Vince McMahon announced his retirement. When Triple H took charge of the regime, he was completely off-TV and repackaged to the NXT brand. However, recent rumors have emerged about Veer Mahaan’s minor injury and WWE is very cautious about it.
Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reported WWE being extra cautious with Veer Mahaan’s injury ahead of a live event in India next month.
“Veer is injured, a very minor injury, but they’re still not letting him wrestle. They’re trying to protect him because Veer and Sanga have to be healthy for that India show that’s built all around them in mid-January and a lot of money is involved. So, they can’t risk him being hurt to miss that show, so they pulled him from this show. His injury – he absolutely 100% could wrestle, but they are being extra cautious. Anybody else in this world would wrestle with this kind of injury. It’s like a broken finger or something, which people do work through all the time.” [H/T Ringside News]

As noted earlier, WWE will hold a Live event in India on January 18th at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad. It is obvious WWE will add its Indian superstars to the event to showcase their wrestling skills in their native country. The India live event will feature superstars from the SmackDown brand and Drew McIntyre is likely to be a part of it since he previously traveled to India.
