WWE News: The Rock was highly-anticipated to return during Survivor Series
The Survivor Series PPV held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, was hyped around The Rock’s return. The People’s Champ’s much-anticipated return to the company was long overdue, but nothing as such happened at the PPV event.
It was expected that The Rock would make an appearance at Survivor Series to celebrate his 25 years in the company, but he was filming in Europe, and the COVID restrictions didn’t allow him to appear at the PPV event. Now, we expect him to grace the WWE Universe next year or maybe in 2023 during the build-up of Wrestlemania 39 in Hollywood, where he is expected to square off against his cousin Roman Reigns in a dream match.
