Grayson Waller is a rising star on the NXT roster and he continues to earn more glory through his heel work. Earlier this month, he won the first-ever Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge match rising his stakes all-time high.
Recently, Waller was a guest on Corey Graves’ After The Bell Podcast where he compared himself with The Miz. Precisely, he mentioned feeling good to be compared to the Grand Slam Champion.
Grayson Waller said, “I laughed because how is being compared to The Miz a bad thing? He main-evented WrestleMania, he’s on ‘Raw’ every single week and he steals the show. He’s always doing something. He’s doing media appearances; everybody knows who The Miz is, and he has a reality show. Why would I take offense to someone saying I’m The Miz? If I’m The Miz, hell yeah, that’s awesome for me, that means my career is going really well, lad.”

Further, Grayson Waller continued to shower praise for the A-Lister and hopes more people compare him with The Miz. Although Waller took the comparison similar to his current character, he revealed one major difference between himself and the former WWE Champion.

“I think people know that Miz is a good guy, too. He’s doing all these media appearances, he’s obviously who he is, but he’s a good guy too. I’m not,” Waller said. “I don’t care if anyone likes me, I don’t want anyone to like me. I didn’t leave my family and friends back home to make friends, I came here to be a superstar and I’m going to do whatever it takes and say whatever it takes. I think that differentiates me. Currently, Waller is focused on the NXT Title and he aims to win the title from Bron Breakker. However, recently, he bumped up in a heated confrontation with Apollo Crews who previously defeated him in a casket match.
