Recently, the former UFC lightweight champion posted a video of his training on his Instagram account. The video features Nurmagomedov running on a treadmill with a caption where he mentioned he has to be ready by July specifying not an MMA return.

Quickly, after he posted the video on Instagram, fans flooded the comment section questioning his return. Many fans asked him about his possible UFC return while others speculated about his WWE and Football debut. Following Endeavour Group’s big deal with WWE, many fans commented on WWE as Khabib is known for his wrestling.
Khabib Nurmagomedov has a good hold over his wrestling skills and many fans would be happy to watch him wrestle once again. The Russian grappler is highly expected to return to one of the sports following the WWE-UFC merger. But, fans need to wait until the Eagle clarifies his future.
When did Khabib Nurmagomedov retire from UFC?
Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the top UFC fighters in UFC history. With an undefeated record of 29-0, the Russian-born fighter reached new heights eventually conquering the UFC Lightweight title. Since his debut in 2012, he defeated several fighters including Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, Justin Gaethje, and many more.
Unfortunately, Khabib lost his father during the pandemic and he made a bold decision to quit UFC in 2020. He defeated Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 to end his UFC career in the last match. Despite retirement, Khabib continues to coach his team and current UFC Lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.
