The 16-year World Champion made a surprise return on July 18 Money in the Bank PPV event hosted at the Dickies Arena at Fort Worth, Texas.

John Cena had a memorable battle with Roman Reigns at Summerslam, and that remained the only televised match in his latest WWE run. As Cena is off to Hollywood again, the 16-time World Champion participated in a fan Q&A session at the Florida Supercon last weekend, where he was asked if he would wrestle for any other promotion. Cena opted to duck with a diplomatic answer pointing to the “never say never” philosophy, but also stated that he would not wrestle for any other promotion. Check out Cena’s reply,

“There’s a whole like ‘never say never’ philosophy, and I am also that way in life because you never know what life will bring you. But, I can with certainty say no.”

WWE News: Cena has already wrestled his last match of this current run
As mentioned above, John Cena has seemingly done with this particular run. Cena worked his last match on the Madison Square Garden edition of Friday Night Smackdown this past week.
Cena teamed up with The Mysterios to pick up a win over The Bloodline (The Usos and Roman Reigns) in a non-televised 6-man Tag-Team match. Since his return at the Money in the Bank PPV, Cena teamed up with the Mysterios on multiple occasions for several live events and non-televised dark matches for both Raw and Smackdown. He also teamed up with Riddle for a dark match on Monday Night Raw to defeat the team of Jinder Mahal & Veer.
