WWE News: Former WWE writer explains why Triple H did a mistake by releasing Mandy Rose
On the contrary, there was one superstar who got released from WWE recently. It was none other than Mandy Rose who breached her contract as she was posting explicit content on her Fan Time page. On finding out about the content she has been posting, WWE decided to strip her of the NXT Championship which marked the end of her 413-day reign as champion.
On the latest episode of the Wrestling With Freddie podcast, Freddie Prinze Jr. explained that the release of Mandy Rose was the first wrong decision that Triple H took since taking over from his father-in-law.
“In what I think might be the first fumble that Triple H has had, they released Mandy Rose, the NXT Champion. And if you aren’t familiar with her, she rules. She’s awesome; she’s been the champ for over a year. She’s drop-dead gorgeous, she can talk on the mic a bit and NXT, the crowd, there welcomed her with open arms when, I don’t wanna say it’s a demotion to go from the main roster to NXT,” Prinze Jr said.
