Recently, he was featured in an interview with Sports Illustrated where he spoke about pro wrestling and recalled his short run in WWE. The Luchador said he is grateful to work with Vince McMahon despite fewer opportunities.

He said, “A lot of people always tell me [I should go back with Levesque in charge], but to me, it was an honor to work under [Vince] McMahon. Even though he did not give me many opportunities, I learned a lot backstage about the business. I am too old to work for the WWE now.” [H/T Wrestling Headlines]
Ultimo Dragon is one of the top Japanese wrestlers who made a great name outside the country which includes a successful run in WCW. He held the WCW Cruiserweight title twice in his WCW run. He also won IWGP Heavyweight Title twice in NJPW.

WWE News: When did Ultimo Dragon debut on WWE?
Ultimo Dragon earned tremendous fame in his early wrestling career, which laced his boots to WCW. After a successful run in WCW, he joined WWE in 2003, competing in non-televised shows.
After a handful of matches, Dragon moved to the main roster on SmackDown to feature in his first appearance at Madison Square Garden. He competed against several WWE superstars like Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, Shannon Moore, Taijari, and many more. However, the former cruiserweight champion’s run was short-lived as released him in April 2004.
