The 40-year-old Jeet Rama aka., Satender Dagar from Sonipat, who had a brief stint in WWE 205 Live, spoke his heart out in a recent interview about how Indian wrestlers get booked in WWE. He emphasized the fact that WWE is a business, and they do whatever is right from a business perspective. However, at the same time, he wasn’t amused that an Indian wrestler is portrayed as a heel.

He further added, “My soul couldn’t come to peace with the fact that I was making money by misrepresenting my country. When I wrestled at a WWE Live Event a few years ago in Delhi, I saw that the Indian audience was booing Jinder Mahal. Isn’t there something seriously wrong if your home audience isn’t cheering for Jinder Mahal? At some level, we as Indians have to compromise when we go to WWE.- This is the weakness I want to eliminate.”
Rama was a victim of WWE’s bulk release of 2021 and was shown the exit door by the company last month. He has now returned to his homeland India, and it would be interesting to see what’s next for the pro-wrestler from Sonipat. Haryana.
