WWE News: Check out Randy Orton’s top 3 matches of 2021- Randy Orton is more than just a Superstar in WWE. He is a living legend in the company, and his accolades speak volumes for his stature. 

Recently, the Apex Predator etched his name in history books by surpassing the ‘Big Red Machine,’ Kane’s tally of most numbers of matches competed in a PPV event by competing at the Survivor Series PPV on November 21. This past week on Monday Night Raw, he again made history by competing in the most number of matches on WWE Raw.

With two monumental achievements in almost a week, the Apex Predator seems to be on cloud nine, and his achievements made their way into Guinness Book of World Records as they recognized his feat. With Orton’s name buzzing all around, we have come up with a list of three of his best matches held this year. So without any further ado, let’s plunge into this list,

 

WWE News: Randy Orton vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, Wrestlemania 37 (April 11)

Randy Orton collided against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in the opening match of the second night of Wrestlemania 37. The two men had taken each other to the limit in the build-up of this bout, and The Fiend ensured he walked out with his original unburnt attire.

Alexa Bliss came out and turned the handle of a giant jack-in-the-box placed ringside from where The Fiend emerged and leaped off the box on Orton. The match was physical and brutal but spectacular at the same time. The Fiend applied his vicious Mandible Claw that has put many opponents in the past, but Orton managed to escape the claw not once but twice.

The Fiend and Alexa Bliss face-to-face

The Fiend was interrupted with a pyro that erupted from the four turnbuckles in the closing moments of the match. Alexa Bliss was then seen sitting atop the jack-in-the-box with a black liquid oozing down her face.- This distracted The Fiend, and Orton sneaked an opportunity to hit the RKO and end the match.

WWE News: Randy Orton & Riddle vs. AJ Styles & Omos for Raw Tag-Team Championship, Summerslam 2021 (August 21)

The Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, hosted an epic edition of WWE Summerslam. The night saw Riddle & Randy Orton officially forming an unorthodox team of all sorts and went on to win the Raw Tag-Team titles.

Orton & Riddle defeated the then Raw tag-team Champions AJ Styles & Omos to become the tag-team champions. When the duo formed RK-Bro, no one expected them to go a long way, but they hold the tag-team golds to date and have been going strength to strength.

WWE News: Randy Orton & Riddle vs. The Usos, Survivor Series (November 21)

Having defended their tag-team titles against the best Monday Night Raw has to offer, Riddle & Orton took their game a notch ahead when they defeated the Smackdown tag-team champions The Usos in a brand supremacy match.

It was a big win for Orton & Riddle as The Usos are seasoned campaigners when it comes to tag-teams. The Viper’s RKO out of nowhere on Jimmy Uso was the only thing required for the Raw tag-team champions to slay the Smackdown tag-team champions at Survivor Series.
