Fans have been speculating about the payslip of some of the top WWE stars like Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, etc., but it seems like the stature these superstars carry, they are being underpaid.

WWE News: Top superstars being underpaid
According to Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, some of the top WWE talents, including Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, Brock Lesnar, etc., are greatly underpaid. Meltzer, on his latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, revealed that,

“Becky Lynch is underpaid. There is not one person on this roster who is not greatly underpaid, including Roman Reigns, and including Brock Lesnar for that matter. Based on, if you were in any sport, and the amount of revenue that you draw, the amount of revenue that you generate, when you’re talking about the percentage that the WWE guys get as compared to, even the UFC fighters, who are terribly underpaid. How much is a reserve lineman on an NFL team generating? Nothing, but because the players play the game and the players are the game, they get 50%.”

WWE News: Superstars heavily underpaid compared to other sporting stars
Meltzer has reported that even an unknown NFL star makes more money than renowned WWE superstars and event the least paid stars on the roster. He stated that when you compare WWE to other major sports, it’s a huge gap to fill.
Lately, WWE has been busy with budget cuts, but despite more than 150 superstars being released, the top stars aren’t getting the money they deserve.- This is one big issue WWE needs to look into moving forward and come up with a solution sooner rather than later.
