WWE News: Apollo Crews comments on how Cristiano Ronaldo would perform in WWE
Over the years, Ronaldo has done justice to the word hard work. While he may not possess the god-gifted skills of Lionel Messi, CR7 has shown the world that nothing is impossible when one is determined to reach a certain goal. Even at the age of 37, Ronaldo remains insanely hungry to achieve more for both club and country.
Speaking in a recent interview by Alistair McGeorge of Metro, NXT superstar Apollo Crews spoke about how Cristiano Ronaldo would have performed in WWE. Crews opined that Cristiano’s mentality to keep going and his never give up attitude would have made him flourish in the global juggernaut. He also labeled Ronaldo “world-class.”
“Honestly, with that mentality to be a top athlete in the world on that level, I think just on the mentality alone he would’ve done okay. When you start the physical part, that’s a different story though, for most people. But again, [he’s] a world-class athlete so I wouldn’t put it past him.” (H/t to 411 Mania)
