The company is touring the United Kingdom and Europe in the coming months. One of the biggest events is Clash at the Castle which will take place on September 3rd in Cardiff Wales.
It was a given that WWE will stack up the best possible match card for the event. However, according to reports the main event for the show is set. According to Dave Meltzer via the Wrestling Observer, Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns will his Championships against Hometown Hero Drew McIntyre.
However, it is mentioned yet, who the Tribal Chief will face before September. The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes has intentions clear he wants the WWE Championship. Shinsuke Nakamura on and off comes up against the Tribal Chief to take revenge on Rick Boogs. However, it isn’t confirmed whether Reigns will be performing at all of those PPVs with rumors of Reigns being on a lighter schedule.
Drew McIntyre Promises to Take Roman Reigns Down
The Scottish Warrior has been behind the top championships of the WWE for over a year now. Recently in an interview with SportsKeeda, McIntyre spoke about Roman Reigns’ character change and praised them. However, he also claimed that he would be the first guy to take him down.
“He talks about the numbers. I see the numbers. Everything he says is based on truth. He genuinely is a needle mover. He genuinely is a huge attraction and he stays within that character. He’s not getting my acknowledgment except he tells the truth, but I’m going, to tell the truth too. I’m gonna be the one to take him down.”
A title change at Clash at the Castle looks highly unlikely. However, if McIntyre could pull off a win that would be huge. Winning a Championship in your hometown can take a superstar’s career to a whole new level.
