WWE Lawsuit: Was Bianca Belair One of the Victims of Racist Storyline?
Among the examples mentioned for racism in scripts, Bianca Belair was scripted to say “Uh-Uh! Don’t make me take off my earrings and beat your ass!”
Britney sent an email to SmackDown Vice President Ryan Callahan regarding Belair’s lines. In the email, she stated that she isn’t trying to be disrespectful towards anyone, neither is she trying to step into anyone else’s toes, but she would be negligent if she didn’t mention that Belair’s lines include offensively racist and stereotypical jargon.
It is mentioned within the lawsuit that Belair tried to change the line about earrings several times. The EST of WWE even stated that the line made her sound “ghetto”.
According to the lawsuit, Belair told Dunn, “3 different times that I don’t want to say that line! But he never listens to me! He puts that line in every week!”
A key detail in the lawsuit also states that Bianca Belair informed Plaintiff that she told Chris Dunn (involved in the lawsuit): “3 different times that I don’t want to say that line! But he never listens to me! He puts that line in every week!”.

However in the end WWE creative team member Dunn altered the line but it took Belair asking several times before the alteration was made.
