During the final hour of the show, Madcap Moss returned to the WWE and challenged Happy Corbin to a match. Moss was steaming with anger and wanted his revenge from Happy Corbin.

The anger got the better of Moss during the match on WWE SmackDown. Moss took a steel chair and attacked Happy Corbin, getting himself disqualified in the process. He almost broke Corbin’s neck before WWE officials stopped him.

Post the match, Corbin met Adam Pearce backstage and asked the WWE official to suspend Moss. Instead, Adam Pearce asked Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss to solve their problems at WWE Hell in a Cell 2022 in a No Holds Barred Match.
WWE Hell in a Cell 2022: WWE Introduced Madcap Moss in a New Gimmick
Tonight on WWE SmackDown, Madcap Moss made his WWE return after three long weeks. This time we saw a very different version of Madcap Moss. He gave up the suspenders and came out in just black tights.

His entrance music was changed to something very serious compared to an old jolly song. Previously, he would come out in a very laughing and fun way. Today he looked more serious and ready for business.
For months now, WWE has tipped Madcap Moss and Theory as the next big superstars of the WWE in the coming ten years. While Moss’ comic character was very very entertaining, that’s not what WWE looks for while choosing their Numero Uno.
WWE has always preferred big strong huge guys who do have a comic side to them. But a fully comic character is not suitable for the company. It will be interesting to see how WWE uses Moss post-WWE Hell in a Cell 2022.
