He seemed very happy throughout the night until he bumped into Kevin Owens, who made an announcement of his own telling Rollins that if he beats Big E tonight, he will enter the WWE Championship match at the PPV event and make it a triple-threat bout. Rollins was perplexed by the news and approached Adam Pearce to know the authenticity of the news.
Pearce first told him there’s nothing as such, but later in the night, Pearce told Rollins that his colleague Sonya Deville liked the triple-threat match idea and ensured that the stipulation is on for the match later tonight.
