This match is set to escalate the ongoing feud between The Usos and Owens/Zayn, which has been brewing since WrestleMania. Furthermore, Paul Heyman has hinted that Roman Reigns is displeased with The Usos’ performance after their recent loss. Meanwhile, Riddle has made a comeback to WWE and is seeking revenge against Solo Sikoa, who had previously sidelined him towards the end of last year.

WWE Backlash 2023: Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens & Matt Riddle vs The Usos & Solo Sikoa Preview, Schedule, Prediction, and morePreview
During Friday’s episode of SmackDown, Riddle competed in a singles match against Solo Sikoa. Unfortunately, Riddle was unable to secure the victory as Sikoa landed a devastating samoan spike, resulting in Riddle’s defeat.
After the match, Sikoa didn’t show any mercy towards Riddle and continued to attack him as chaos erupted around the ring with The Usos and Zayn & Owens involved in a brawl. Sikoa then executed a uranage on top of the announcer’s table, leaving Riddle defenseless. Before Owens and Zayn could intervene, Sikoa pushed the table on top of Riddle, inflicting further damage.
It was a brutal scene that left the audience shocked and worried about Riddle’s condition.
Schedule
In anticipation of Backlash on May 6th, Zayn, Owens and Matt Riddle will be Face off The Usos and Solo Sikoa.
Prediction
While a classic feel-good victory for the babyface team is always an option, there is a chance to create even more compelling storytelling if the Bloodline emerges victorious. Imagine if, after winning, the Usos go to Reigns in celebration, only to be told that their performance still wasn’t good enough. Or perhaps Roman acknowledges Solo for doing the majority of the work. With the added benefit of Sami and KO retaining their titles even in defeat, a Bloodline win appears to be the optimal choice.
