WWE Backlash 2023 is all set to take place on May 6, 2023, from 8 PM EST at the Coliseum de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Bad Bunny and Rey Mysterio vs Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest
Recently Bad Bunny appeared on WrestleMania 39, where he joined the Spanish announcer’s table. However, he interfered in the match between Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio and snatched a steel chain from Dominik, with which he was about to smash Rey Mysterio.
Following that on WWE Raw this week, Dominik Mysterio confronted Bad Bunny, who took him down with a right hand. However, Damian Priest pulled him and delivered a chokeslam to Bad Bunny through the announcer’s table. Bad Bunny is also the host of WWE Backlash 2023. With that, he might team up with Rey Mysterio to face Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest at Backlash.

Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes
On WWE Raw this week, Brock Lesnar attacked Cody Rhodes who was his tag team partner in a match against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. The Beast Incarnate destroyed Cody Rhodes with two F-5s.
This could eventually lead to a match between Lesnar and Rhodes at WWE Backlash 2023.

Rhea Ripley vs Bianca Belair
On WrestleMania 39 Rhea Ripley defeated Charlotte Flair to become the new WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion. Bianca Belair on the other hand defeated Asuka and retained the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.
However, on the last episode of Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair came face to face. Ripley stated that Bianca Belair was lucky that Rhea Ripley didn’t choose her as her WrestleMania opponent. This might develop in a ‘Winner Takes It All’ Match at Backlash 2023.
