The pitch conditions at the Oval remain a mystery and thus the Indian team are preparing hard to face whatever the conditions provide. Earlier, the team practiced on a dusty pitch to ace if the pitch provides a spin track.
Today, the top batting order of the Indian team was in full swing. Not only did Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli led the practice, Ravindra Jadeja also got quite sometime on the nets as he practiced batting. On the other hand, Mohammed Siraj had an extensive bowling stint.

Ace speedster Mohammed Shami too joined the practice as the GT bowler is keen on continuing his fine form in red ball cricket. Shami had an excellent outing in IPL 2023 where he managed to scalp 28 wickets and got his hands on the purple cap.
India take on arch rivals Australia in the upcoming and coveted Finals of the World Test Championship. The two sides will meet on 7th June at the Oval for the prestigious final.
