WTC Final: Team India had yet another poor outing an ICC final as they lost to Australia in the World Test Championship final. Meanwhile, the fans on social media bashed Rohit Sharma and Co for their poor batting effort.
Requiring 280 runs to win on Day 5 pitch, Ajinkya Rahane and Virat Kohli came out to bat for India. The duo looked good on the wicket till Scott Boland got the better of Kohli with the batter one run short of his fifty. Jadeja came and went in the same over as Boland scalped two in that over.
After the fall of Jadeja, KS Bharat came out to bat as he and Rahane formed a short partnership before Rahane got out playing a loose stroke as he also departed just short of his fifty. The Aussie bowling line-up did not take much time to clean up Indian lower-order as they won yet another ICC trophy.
