WTC Final 2023, IND vs AUS: There is a raging argument going on among experts and fans that who will be the India wicket-keeper in the World Test Championship Final 2023 at Oval. Currently, KL Rahul and KS Bharat are fighting for the keeping role against Australia. But in this battle, an unexpected name, MS Dhoni has risen up. The question regarding Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper was handled brilliantly by Ravi Shastri who gave an epic response.
India’s designated keeper for the match against Australia in the World Test Championship (WTC) Final may very well be KL Rahul. Notably, only KS Bharat was included in the BCCI’s 15-man squad as the designated wicketkeeper for the summit match.
Ishan Kishan was the backup during the Border Gavaskar Trophy, while KS Bharat played in all four games. He did not, however, impress while holding the bat, and in England’s seaming conditions, his technique is questionable.
Should he maintain wickets, Rahul could claim the middle order spot with Shubman Gill at the top. Bharat’s retention is not completely out of the question, and the team management will make the final choice.

MS Dhoni in Race for WTC Final 2023
Fans have questioned if Dhoni should make a comeback for a special occasion to lead India to an ICC trophy because to his IPL 2023 performance. When the same question was put to the former India coach Ravi Shastri, he responded in a dramatic manner by bringing up the upcoming World Test Championship final.
Fans have questioned whether the former India captain should think about coming back from retirement and competing in the WTC final while the discussion is still ongoing and Dhoni is having an unbelievable IPL 2023.
During his interview with ESPNCricinfo, Shastri was asked the identical question, to which he responded, “Oh ya. He has shown a lot of young keepers in the country with the way he has kept in IPL for someone who doesn’t play first-class cricket.”
And in case you forgot, Dhoni knows one or two things about playing in England.
Dhoni ended his Test career in December 2014. Later, he declared that he would retire internationally in 2020.
