WTC 2023 Final: Team India is all set to take on Australia in the final encounter of the World Test Championship set to begin on June 7 in England. While Kohli, Umesh and Siraj were seen jogging in their new training kit, off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin could be seen rolling his arm over at the nets. Unadkat was also engaged in a discussion with head coach Rahul Dravid and bowling coach Paras Mhambrey. Cheteshwar Pujara, who has been playing for Sussex in the English county circuit to prepare for the final, also was seen arriving in the training ground.
As mentioned above, the ICC World Test Championship Final 2023 is scheduled to take place from June 7 to 11 at the Oval in London. India and Australia will face off in this highly anticipated clash. Australia secured the top spot in the WTC 2021–23 standings with a percentage of 66.67% and 152 points, while India secured second place with a percentage of 58.8% and 127 points.
The likes of Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Mohammed Siraj and Ravi Ashwin were in decent touch in the recently concluded IPL 2023. The senior players will be looking to make the most the opportunity and try to clinch the prized trophy which they failed to achieve in the previous final of WTC against New Zealand.
