Ahead of the WPL 2024 auction in December, champions of the inaugural WPL (Women’s Premier League), Mumbai Indians, have provided major squad announcements with just two months left before the auction.
The defending champions have announced the retention of 13 players and have let go of 4 players from their 17-women squad.
The retention list consists of the names of players like skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, Purple Cap winner Hayley Matthews, Emerging Player of WPL 2023 Yastika Bhatia, and Player of the Final Natalie Sciver-Brunt among others.
The four players who have been released are Heather Graham, Dhara Gujjar, Sonam Yadav, and Neelam Bisht.
