WPL 2023 TICKETS: With two of the biggest names in franchise cricket and biggest fan base in India- Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians involved in the matches on Sunday and Monday, the fans rushed in clusters to purchase the tickets. Smriti Mandhana’s RCB will take on Meg Lanning’s DC on Sunday, March 05, while Harmanpreet Kaur’s Mumbai Indians will square off against RCB on Monday, March 06.

The BCCI has kept ticket costs for WPL games reasonable, taking a hint from the December women’s series between India and Australia. The five-match bilateral T20 series drew large audiences to the venues in Mumbai, with the second game in Wankhede drawing 35,000 spectators—the largest crowd ever recorded in a women’s game in India. In an effort to capitalize on this, the BCCI has maintained tickets for male spectators at prices of Rs 100, Rs 250, and Rs 400 while granting free access to women. WPL matches will all take place at Brabourne, Wankhede, and Dr. DY Patil stadiums.

The Women’s Premier League’s inaugural season will feature 22 games in total. Each team will face the other four teams twice during the round-robin first round. The table-topper at the end of this round will advance to the final game, which will be held on March 26 at Brabourne Stadium. On March 24, the second and third-place teams will square off in the Eliminator match at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy.
