Worrying Signs for Pakistan ahead of IND vs PAK clash, Naseem Shah gets injured in PAK vs BAN match

Naseem Shah was fielding at the boundary ropes when he injured his shoulder while trying to stop the ball.

Asia Cup 2023: Express pacer Naseem Shah has coped up an injury while fielding during the PAK vs BAN Super 4 clash of the Asia Cup 2023. Shah was looking impressive with the ball as he also scalped the first Bangladeshi wicket. However, the speedster got injured while trying to stop a boundary on third man region. He looked in pain and was later taken off the field.

Naseem could only bowl four overs in his first spell vs BAN

Opening the bowling alongside Shaheen, Naseem looked sharp with the new ball. He immediately registered himself in the wickets column. The express pacer was bowling at quick pace and the Pakistani camp will be hoping that the shoulder injury is not anything serious.

To note, the Men in Green are slated to take on India in their next Super 4 encounter. The match is slated to be played on September 10 (Sunday) in Sri Lanka. Naseem bowled an excellent spell against the Men in Blue and it will be a big miss for Babar Azam and Co if Naseem is not available for the game.
