World Photography Day: IPL franchises- MI, CSK, RCB, KKR, SRH share special posts as the world celebrates photography day: As the world celebrates photography day each year on August 19, the buzz for the same is high this year as well. The IPL franchises MI, CSK, RCB, KKR, and SRH also shared special posts for the iconic day. While some posted pictures featuring players engaged in fun-based photography activities, others posted proper videos of the team the entire contingent.

RCB were the first team to mark World Photography Day among the IPL franchises but the attention was garnered best by KKR’s post who featured their owner- Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan.

IPL 2021 Phase 2: Teams departure schedule for UAE

After a long wait, the IPL 2021 will resume action with Phase 2 of the league all set to take centre stage in the UAE on September 19. India’s premier T20 competition was postponed in May, was subsequently shifted to the Gulf country in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) will take arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Dubai to kick off the action with all teams evenly poised in the hunt for the playoffs.

  • Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have already reached the Gulf Nation on August 13.
  • Delhi Capitals (DC) will leave for UAE on August 21
  • Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are planning to leave for Abu Dhabi by August 27.
  • Punjab Kings (PKBS) said their players would leave by August 29.
  • Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) contingent is likely to leave by the end of the month as per the plans.
  • Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will depart for the desert nation on August 31.
  • Rajasthan Royals (RR) will reach Dubai on September 2.

As per the mandates, the players will have to undergo a mandatory six-day quarantine on reaching the Gulf country and before starting their preparatory camp.
