ICC World Cup Live Broadcast will be the biggest ever on Star Sports. Not only it will attract a large audience with free live streaming for mobile users on Disney+ Hotstar but with 120 commentators providing expert opinions for 48 matches in nine languages, it will set a record of its own. World Cup-winning captains Ricky Ponting and Eoin Morgan will join the panel besides some of the World Cup winners including Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar Shane Watson and Waqar Younis among others will be on the panel. World Cup 2023 begins on Oct 5 in Ahmedabad with a repeat of 2019 final in England vs New Zealand. There will be 8 local languages for World Cup Live Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
Star Sports, the official broadcast partner of ICC, will have 9 languages in total. Apart from the global feed in English, World Cup Live Streaming will be on Disney+ Hotstar in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati and Malayalam.
Furthermore, Grace Hayden, former Australian opener Matthew Hayden’s daughter will be one of the 8 presenters on Star Sports World Cup shows. Former England captain Kevin Pietersen and South Africa captain Faf du Plessis will also join on video calls.
