Prannoy seems to be on a roll in Tokyo. After a stunning win over Kento Momota in the last match, there was a spring in Prannoy’s steps. However, things did not go according to plan in the first game. He lost 17-21, but there were plenty of signs to show that Prannoy was still in the game.

The two Indian players were involved in a brilliant contest, which witnessed both the players coming up with quality badminton. There was hardly anything to choose between the two players. The audience were treated to a great show as Prannoy won the second game to take the contest into a decider.
