Women U19 World Cup Highlights: IND-W U19 vs SA-W U19 Highlights, SL-W U19 vs USA-W U19 Highlights- India have made a winning a challenging 167-run chase in their hands as SouthAfrica U19 have posted 166/5 opting to bat. Simone Lourens played a blazing 44-ball 61 run knock while Madison Landsman smashed 17-ball 32 to power SA to 166. In the other match, USA have managed only 96 against SriLanka. In the first set of matches on Day 1, Bangladesh girls stunned Australia by 7 wickets. Chasing a target of 131, Bangladesh crossed the finish line in 18 overs with 7 wickets to spare. In the other match, UAE girls made a winning start against Scotland. After restricting Scotland to just 99/8, UAE chased down the target with ease in 16.4 overs with 6 wickets to spare.

IND-W U19 vs SA-W U19 LIVE: India have made a perfect start to their World Cup campaign. Sehrawat put on a show of batting as she completely took apart South Africa’s bowling attack. Chasing 167, Shafali started with a bang as she stroked 26 runs off the last over of the powerplay. After her departure, the vice-captain took the charge as the Women in Blue never looked out of the control in their chase.

AUS-W U19 vs BAN-W U19 LIVE: Bangladesh have stunned Australian girls in their opening fixture of Women’s U19 T20 World Cup. Dilara Akter and Sumaiya Akter starred with the bat to chase down 131-run target in 18 overs. But earlier, their bowlers did a good job too. Marufa Akter and Disha Biswas bagged two wickets apiece to restrict Australia U19 to just 130/5. Claire Moore scored a half-century for Australia U19 but in vain.

A total of 16 teams, including 11 full ICC members and 5 associate countries, will compete with each other. They are divided into four groups. As the group league will be in a single round-robin format, each team will get to play three games during this stage. Then, the top three sides from each group will advance to the next stage – Super Six Round.

The qualified 12 teams will be split into two groups with six members in each. The top two teams from both groups will progress to the knockout stage. Semi-finals will take place on 27 January and the winners will cross swords in the summit clash on 29 January at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom.
