While speculation is rife among the fans that the ongoing edition could be the last IPL for Dhoni, former CSK player Dwayne Bravo expressed his belief that the recently introduced Impact Player rule could contribute to the extension of MS Dhoni’s tenure with CSK. Bravo further highlighted Dhoni’s unparalleled skill of maintaining a calm and composed demeanor during high-pressure situations.

“Especially with the Impact Player rule in IPL, Dhoni can keep prolonging his career. We bat really deep. I think the likes of Ajinkya Rahane and Shivam Dube, these guys make a huge difference. So, you don’t require much from Dhoni. But his ability to keep us calm while the team is under pressure is unmatched,” said the former West Indies all-rounder.
Notably, as the first team CSK have entered the final of the IPL 2023. They will play the summit clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 28. The Dhoni-led side will aim for their fifth IPL title. Only Mumbai Indians have managed to win IPL title five times.
